Salem Abdulla Bin Hareb of ADNOC noted that technology in supply chain , 'should help him manage the challenges created by shifting customers loyalty especially when the people resources are limited and transportation infrastructure is inadequate to meet the demands. Knowing how to use these tools of lean management can rapidly and dramatically reduce the economic cost of distance. Containerization, satellite tracking, multimodal systems, integration of logistics elements through shipping, fleet management through ports and airports, are all facilitating lower cost, better quality, just-in-time movement of goods and commodities.'
Mohammed H Abdulla of Etisalat said that 'it is more than inventory management with a pick and ship method aided by Voice-Directed Systems.
