Nokia introduces Arabic functionality for the Nokia 9300 smartphone

Nokia announced today the launch of the Nokia 9300 smartphone with full Arabic functionality.

Nokia, the global leader in mobile communications, unveiled its latest Arabic-enabled phone during the 'Kuwait First Conference on Mobile & Wireless Business'. The iconic smartphone was unveiled by Susan Macke, Vice President, EMEA Sales & Marketing, Enterprise Solutions Business Group, Nokia, who also presented Nokia's vision for enterprise mobility at the conference.

The Nokia 9300 is only the latest smartphone from Nokia to offer full Arab language functionality, coming shortly after this feature was released in the Nokia 9500 Communicator. Committed to connecting people, Nokia offers Arabic language support and a wide range of Arabic applications for its phones, while Nokia's Middle East and North Africa website (www.nokiamena.com) can be accessed in Arabic, as well as in English and French.

The compact and stylish design of the Nokia 9300 makes it effortless to use while bringing e-mail, calendar, browsing and even document, spreadsheet and presentation creation into the pockets of business professionals, giving them the full power of connectivity.

The phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks. Five party conference calling via an integrated speakerphone and a possibility to use multiple e-mail clients (with attachments), enable seamless and secure mobile connectivity in and out of the office. The Nokia 9300 also integrates infrared and Bluetooth capabilities, giving users additional options to wirelessly synchronize their devices to a desktop PC or a laptop, as well as exchange data with other mobile devices.
