The contemporary 325-room building now features 200 new-look rooms, which have undergone complete in-room décor renovation, including new carpets, curtains, fresh linens, modern furniture and bathrooms. The new look gives the rooms a warmer, more relaxed and up-to-date feel, while contemporary fittings have been installed, as well as modern art throughout the hotel.
'Having operated the hotel for more than 30 years, we acknowledged the need for a radical refurbishment of our premier beachfront property in the capital. The renovation has been specifically designed to enhance the feel and ambience of the rooms, and bring it in line with Hilton's global brand and product standards,' said Jean Welti, the hotel's General Manager.
The major upgrade also included the banqueting rooms, the lobby, the main restaurant La Terrazza, and the capital's first BiCE - the world famous Italian restaurant. The hotel's other food and beverage outlets include Hemingway's South American Bistro, a casual restaurant with an award winning menu and live music, Vasco's, named after the discoverer - a lively modern restaurant serving food from the far corners of the globe, and the Jazz Bar, Abu Dhabi's most popular nightspot with a six piece live Jazz band guaranteed to get guests dancing.
Business guests can also now enjoy high-speed internet connection in all rooms, and wireless access in public areas. The Hilton Abu Dhabi stretches along the Corniche and boasts the city's best beach club, the Hiltonia Beach Club and Spa. With the new look, the property offers both leisure and business guests the ideal location when visiting the UAE capital.
