GPSSA & EREC conclude an agreement to complete the GPSSA new building at the cost of AED 26.5 million

The General Pensions and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) and the Emirates Real Estate Corporation (EREC) have sealed an agreement with Al Darweesh Contracting Company, to implement the second phase of the GPSSA building in Abu Dhabi.
H.E Sultan Ahmad Al Gaith, GPSSA General Manager represented the GPSSA, and H.E Abdullah Al Huraiz, EREC General Manager signed the agreement at the GPSSA premises in Abu Dhabi.
The GPSSA building will be build in the airport road within the governmental institutions compound in Abu Dhabi on an approximate land area of 3.296 sqm, and an approximate construction area of 6.900 sqm, will include 8 floors of a 35 m height.
Al Gaith said the design of the project was selected taking into consideration the current and future needs of the GPSSA. These are related to functional and quality requirements. An underground parking space for employees and outside parking for visitors will be provided.
Abdullah Al Huraiz noted that the completion of this project by EREC is a result of the corporation's strategy to select, design, and maintain all government buildings in the UAE and worldwide according to the highest standards.
Al Huraiz mentioned that EREC completed the first phase of the project, following a contract with one of the biggest companies specialized in the real estate sector. The cost of this phase is estimated at 950 000 Dirhams.
"EREC has proved itself as a pioneer in the real estate sector. The corporation plays a major role in the progress of the real estate sector in the country and is committed to offering the highest quality standards for both public and private sector", Al Huraiz added.
