- PRESS RELEASE
Hyatt Regency Dubai has recently appointed four key personnel in its F&B department.
Thierry Buffeteau, newly appointed Executive Chef, commented: "I have been following Hyatt Regency Dubai's refinement project over the past year and with the newly reopened restaurants and The Bar I am confident that the hotel will be one of Dubai's favourite destinations for business and leisure travellers as well as residents."
Thierry Buffeteau has several years of experience as executive chef with leading hotels in France and Spain. He has been working for Hyatt International for over five years with his last employment being Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Muscat.
Focaccia, Hyatt Regency Dubai's authentic Italian restaurant, will operate now under complete Italian management with the appointment of Samuele Alvisi as Chef and Marco Pacelli as new Assistant Restaurant Manager.
The refinement project has added an 'all-weather' terrace to Focaccia featuring sliding glass doors that can be opened in the winter and closed in the summer to keep out the heat, but still enable guests to enjoy the feeling of 'Al Fresco' dining with a stunning view over the corniche.
Already a long time favourite for lovers of Italian food, Chef Alvisi has added new items to the menu to compliment Focaccia's signature risotto, pasta, seafood and meat dishes that have always impressed diners.
The fourth appointment goes to Michael Braun, Hyatt Regency Dubai's new Assistant Director for F&B who has over five years of experience with Hyatt International, previously working for Grand Hyatt Berlin, Germany.
Michael Braun will be over-viewing all of Hyatt Regency Dubai's outlets, including the brand new international restaurant The Kitchen offering a culinary combination of Middle Eastern, Asian and Western inspired foods, served in an intimate and stylish setting. The dynamic open kitchen and visually inspiring buffet is a dining spectacle for those who enjoy watching expert chefs at work.
The Bar, a lounge style bar with a stunning view of the Deira corniche also opened recently. Glass is the major feature of The Bar which has been designed so all guests can enjoy an undisturbed view of the sea and the setting sun. The Bar's relaxed and stylish environment is perfect for post business function drinks or pre-dinner cocktails.
May 2005 marked the 25th birthday of Hyatt Regency Dubai. With the ambitious refinement project nearing completion, the reopening and launching of its restaurants and the appointment of key personnel in the F&B department, Hyatt Regency Dubai is combining 25 years of expertise in hospitality and service with a new look and fresh ideas ensuring it will always be a favourite for both guests as well as Dubai residents.
