According to Gulf Air Holidays Manager, Jon Barnett the move follows the rapid growth in Gulf Air's holiday business.

"Everyone is very excited at this prospect of the first-ever Holiday Shop in the Gulf Air network," he said.

"A rapidly increasing number of people in the Kingdom and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia are booking Gulf Air Holidays or requesting assistance form Gulf Air in their vacation arrangements.

"As we are committed to providing the highest levels of customer service in everything we do, the decision was made to open a dedicated holiday shop, which provides expert advice and guidance for the full range of Gulf Air Holiday Experiences, including Arabian Experience, Europe Experience and Asia Pacific Experience."

A special promotion will be run in the first two weeks following the opening, whereby anyone booking a Gulf Air holiday will go into a free draw for a valuable prize, the details of which will be announced on opening day.
