Acer announced as official IT partner of Iraq Development Program summit

Acer has been confirmed as the official information technology partner of the Iraq Development Program summit, which takes place in Amman, Jordan on 28-30 June 2005.

The summit looks to provide the opportunity for global companies to meet with key representatives from Iraq's public and private sectors, promoting and facilitating commercial development, generating investment revenue and helping to increase trade relations.

Acer will provide a range of technology services for the summit, including all computer technology at the event. "We look forward to participating in what looks set to be a hugely successful event, one that will serve as a conduit for facilitating business in Iraq," said a spokesman for the company.
