Khalid Bin Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Investments, said: 'DIP aims to bring varied property developments, from manufacturing industries to residential complexes to educational institutions, under a single umbrella. Al-Nibras Private School is the first of many prestigious international schools that will set up facilities at DIP.'

'We have signed agreements with five more international schools, which will soon follow Al-Nibras in setting up their facilities at DIP; thereby transforming the Park into a mini-educational zone,' Bin Kalban added.

Jihad Habib, Managing Director, Al-Nibras Private School, said: 'DIP provided an ideal location for the school, considering the excellent facilities it offers. Moreover, it comprises various industrial and residential complexes, which will allow us to provide a quality education centre that caters to the needs of the student community within the DIP premises. Al Nibras private school has signed agreement with American University of Beirut regional external programs office, appointing them as academic consultant '

Al-Nibras School will be located in close proximity to the Green Community, and will commence functioning in September 2005. The school will offer an international curriculum, and cover classes from kindergarten to Grade 12. It will feature top-of-the-line facilities including computer labs, sports gym, swimming pool and library.

Dubai Investments Park is a multi-phased project being developed at a cost of AED 1.5 billion on a total land area of 3,200 hectares. DIP offers investors pre-serviced sites, world-class infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and quality services for manufacturing, housing, academic, research and development, distribution and logistics purposes.

'DIP has already attracted several large local and international investors and business groups from various sectors. The tremendous investor response we have received over the years, which prompted us to expand our facilities, is encouraging more and more business enterprises and various other institutions to look at DIP as a potential Investment option,' Bin Kalban said.

DIP offers a tax-free environment and exemption from foreign exchange controls and trade barriers. This makes it all the more attractive as an investment destination.

The Dubai Investments Park is being developed, managed and operated by Dubai Investments Park Development Company LLC (DIPDC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments. Besides educational institutions and residential complexes that come equipped with well developed infrastructure facilities, the Park's tenants include industries representing a broad scope of economic activity.
