Jazeera Airways names SR Technics to inspect its fleet of aircraft during the final assembly at Airbus factories in France and Germany

Jazeera Airways, the first privately owned airline in the Middle East has recently signed an agreement with SR Technics by which SR Technics shall oversee and inspect the process of construction and final assembly of Jazeera Airways fleet of aircraft until the delivery phase.
SR Technics is a leading provider in this field, currently offering Engineering/Maintenance support and solutions to over 100 customers around the world, handling more than 350 aircraft, over 300 aircraft engines and some 78,000 components a year. In the past, SR Technics, had the full engineering and maintenance responsibility for the entire Swissair fleet.when SR Technics was part of Swissair.
Jazeera Airways has selected SR Technics for the supervision and inspection of it fleet of aircraft during the final assembly program after a very hard competition among similar international providers having vast experience and knowledge in the aviation industry and aircraft Engineering and Maintenance support
Under the terms of the agreement, SR Technics shall oversee and inspect the process of construction / assembling of Jazeera Airways' Airbus fleet of aircraft following the latest issue of Airbus standards and specifications as well as Jazeera Airways specific requirements.

The SR Technics team is currently on site conducting the agreed upon program.

Jazeera Airways is the first privately owned airline in the Middle East, scheduled to start operations in October 2005 with two brand new owned Airbus A320 aircraft, currently being manufactured in Toulouse, France. Two further brand new owned A320 aircraft will be delivered in summer 2006.
