UAE, China energy pact

The UAE and China have entered into an agreement aimed at bolstering bilateral relations in the energy and oil sector, following a visit by a high-level Chinese delegation. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan said he hoped that Chinese companies would acquire a fair share in the mega oil and energy projects in the UAE.
