- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, June 15 - 2005 at 15:55
- PRESS RELEASE
HP has announced a series of roadshows themed ' Print Your Copies' to showcase the merits of their latest innovative products in printing and imaging, through educative seminars and product demonstrations.
Amin Mortazavi, Regional Product Manager - Commercial Printers, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East, said that the four roadshows would be conducted over two days in each city, with the first day dedicated to channel partners, and the second to customers. "The key focus of these interactive events is to provide advice to both our channel partners and our customers located in each city, on the most cost effective and best quality printing solutions to meet their business needs. The roadshows will showcase HP's groundbreaking technology in the areas of colour printing, network printing, single function and multifunction devices," he announced.
Explaining the significance for the regional SMB market, Mortazavi said around the world, the copying and printing markets were converging into a bigger one, marked by the entry of new business tools like the All-in-One (AIO) and the Multi-functional Printer (MFP). "All-In-Ones continue to record strong growth among office printing mediums, fast replacing the traditional combination of various devices. Combining printer, scanner and fax into a single device, All-In-Ones signify several tangible benefits for SMBs operating in the Middle East, chief among them productivity and cost efficiency. Likewise, MFPs continue to replace the existing, outdated copier solutions within SMBs. At our roadshows, entrepreneurs and IT managers alike can learn how best to harness the power of these new technologies to best advantage within their organisations," he said.
Speaking of HP's latest colour printers, Mortazavi said that the roadshows would reflect the global trend of using colour for boosting brand recognition emphasising messages, and creating powerful marketing materials in-house. "As colour printing becomes more versatile, the need for consulting on the right printing solution becomes more imperative. Our seminars will address both needs and ideal solutions in the challenging field of colour printing," he stated.
And finally, the HP Print Your Copies roadshows will highlight the importance of networking printers that allow SMBs to balance cost and productivity, and offers advanced functionality to users. "As the number of devices on a network increases, it signals a parallel increase in spending on wireless devices and various security requirements. HP's network printers offer distinct competitive advantages in the form of high performance, better productive and security solutions for all hardware platforms," he stated.
HP's Print Your copies roadshows will be held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Kuwait on June 14 and 15, the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh on June 19 and 20, the Le Jeddah Meridien in Jeddah on June 21 and 22 and at the Four Seasons at the First Residence in Cairo on June 26 and 27.
