Saudi sets licence closing date

Foreign insurance companies have until 31 December to lodge applications to open branches in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by insurance regulator SAMA. In March, 13 new insurance companies with a total capital of SR2.5 billion were granted licences to operate in the Kingdom.
