AMAN, the pioneering Dubai-headquartered Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company, has broken new ground with today's announcement that it has launched a service allowing UAE residents to apply for and receive AMAN's travel insurance quotations online.
Jihad Feitrouni, AMAN's General Manager, said: "Customers will find the best travel insurance packages to suit their needs including single trip cover for individuals, families or groups up to US$ 50,000. The travel insurance package also covers death, loss of eyes, total disability, temporary total disability, medical expenses, hospitalization, travel delay, missed departure, hijack, baggage delay, personal money loss, personal liability, among others."
He added: "We offer a range of competitive products and provide outstanding value wherever travels may take our customers. Users will instantly receive an electronic version of our quotation after they submit their online application. The quotation will include the total insurance premium and our advanced call centre is available to respond to queries."
"The online service has been developed by AMAN in response to the growing demand of customers and in light of the increasing electronic transactions taking place in the UAE market," Feitrouni said. "It is capable of processing hundreds of applications in a very short period of time, user-friendly and aims to reduce the time and effort customers have previously been forced to allocate to insuring their trips.
He added: "The launch of the online service reflects AMAN's commitment to developing the Islamic insurance sector by creating unique products and top quality services. We keep a close check on the UAE insurance market to make sure we are in tune with its needs."
By introducing the new service, AMAN has set a benchmark for the regional insurance industry and paved the way for further development of innovative products and services in the sector.
