It is based on simple and common sense concepts that relies essentially on standardization, good housekeeping and waste elimination. KAIZEN involves everyone at the organization including top management, middle management, supervisors and workers. By eliminating waste in inventory, transport, motion, overproduction, and rejects the process is changed into a lean process or a Just-In-Time process. KAIZEN requires other systems to be implemented as well, these are TQM and TPM.
