Jafza attracts leading Chinese companies to the construction zone following its participation in lighting exhibition

Jafza (Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority), has announced that its participation in the Guangzhou International Lighting Fair in China earlier this month, has generated interest among leading Chinese lighting and building technology companies to the construction zone in Jafza.

The Guangzhou Lighting Fair is the biggest and most comprehensive presentation of lighting and building technology products in Asia, and attracted over 40,000 trade visitors from around the world.

The visitor profile for the event comprised of planners, engineers, building contractors, developers, industry end users, architects, energy suppliers, wholesalers and retailers. The exhibitors at the fair represented all major sections of the lighting and electrical industry, including building technology, installations, automation, communication, systems, air-conditioning, elevator systems, solar energy, technical lighting, light control and lighting accessories.

"The huge success we achieved during our participation in last year's edition of the Guangzhou Lighting Fair, prompted us to target this event again," said Jamal Bin Marghoob, Assistant Regional Manager, Jafza. The major boom in the building and construction industries around the world, especially in the Middle East region and UAE has significantly enhanced the demand for lighting and electrical products.
