Jabra continues product expansion with the launch of the BT205 Bluetooth headset to the Middle East

Jabra, a leading brand of hands-free communication products for the mobile consumer market, has today announced the launch of its latest addition to the Jabra BT200 Bluetooth headset family.

The Jabra BT205 has kept the stylish and comfortable Behind-the-Ear (BTE) design that made the Jabra BT200 the world's best selling headset, and has incorporated improvements in usage and style with a sleek new black and silver finish and extended talk-time. In addition, the Jabra BT205 will be offered at a recommended retail price of 229.00 AED so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of hands-free wireless mobile communication.

The Jabra BT205 builds on the success of the popular Jabra BTE range, which includes the Jabra BT200, Jabra BT250 and Jabra BT250v headsets. The headsets have experienced phenomenal success in the Middle East market over the last year, with an overall threefold increase in the number of headsets sold between 2003 and 2004. The popular Jabra BTE headsets have also achieved international recognition with industry awards received from a number of regional magazines.

The Jabra BT205 provides extended talk-time of up to 4 hours and 120 hours (5 days) standby time. The headset weighs just 23 grams and is designed to fit naturally and securely behind the ear. It has a uni-directional microphone to emphasize voice and reduce background noise, and the unique Jabra MiniGelsTM provide superior sound quality and reception.
