E-Vision opens gateway to Internet payments

Emirates Cable TV and Multimedia (E-Vision) announced today the introduction of an electronic payment facility, further enhancing its customer service and making it easier for subscribers to settle their bills.

Payment is carried out over the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation's (Etisalat) electronic payment gateway.

Subscribers have to enter a User ID that is either an existing one linked to a post-paid account such as GSM or fixed line or an Internet account; of alternatively register to acquire a User ID. Customers can follow an easy three-step process to complete the transaction.

Additionally, subscribers can choose to link their E-Vision account to other GSM, landline or Internet accounts on the e4me website, and therefore enjoy the ease of accessing all of these accounts simultaneously.

Ayman Halasa, E-Vision's Customer Service Manager, said:" We are indeed very pleased to introduce the electronic payment option to out customers and to be able to offer them the convenience of such a facility that requires from them only a credit card and a few clicks to settle their bill.

"So far the response we have had to our customers service has been very positive, and this comes as part of our drive to make it even better."

E-Vision is a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) and the only cable TV provider in the USE. The company was established in 2000 and its services currently reach 300,000 homes across the UAE.
