HumanSoft will assist Nokia by providing technical training to Systems Integrators and Value Added Resellers in the region, enabling them to offer Nokia's enterprise-class security and mobility solutions.

Nokia Enterprise Solutions business unit was formed in 2004, and established its Middle East presence later that year. It is responsible for promoting enterprise mobility by enabling secure access to corporate information resources through mobile devices such as mobile phones. Nokia is one of the leading players in information security, including firewalls and Virtual Private Networks within its portfolio. It is also a pioneer in the field of mobile email, which is predicted to become an essential component of the mobile enterprise.

'Our first priority is to recruit partners across the region with the right resources and skillsets to address the enterprise mobility market and then train them on our products and solutions. We have been impressed with HumanSoft's professionalism and experience in the field of IT training and are looking forward to working together to support and extend our channel base in the Middle East,' said Joe Devassy, Sales Manager, Enterprise Solutions Middle East and North Africa. 'The Middle East is an extremely important market for enterprise mobility, due to the level of travel that is required by senior executives and middle management to operate successfully in this region. We are confident that through training sessions such as those held today, and through the efforts of all parties, the benefits derived from mobility will be fully appreciated and then realised by organizations across the region.'

HumanSoft started its operations in 1996 by introducing the New Horizons Training Center in Kuwait - a franchise of the largest independent IT training company worldwide. Over the years, it has expanded its operation by increasing the number of services offered, and by expanding into new markets in the GCC region. By the end of year 2004, HumanSoft operated 6 subsidiaries with more than 700 employees.

'We are pleased to announce our partnership with Nokia as an 'Authorised Training Partner'. Our main objective will be to equip individuals with the technical skills required to operate and install Nokia's solutions, and create professional technicians who are capable of executing unique technical services. We will be working closely with Nokia to assure that the quality of services delivered to our partners is maintained at all levels,' said Nadeem Younis, Senior Vice President, HumanSoft.

Nokia's presence in the Middle East has been dated back to the 1950s and today the company has offices in the UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt and Pakistan, and is looking to further expand its presence in new key markets in the region. Nokia's Enterprise Solutions Business Unit is currently recruiting Value Added Resellers and Systems Integrators across the Middle East region to support this growth.
