Holiday Inn sets the pace for summer
- Egypt: Sunday, June 02 - 2002 at 11:53
- PRESS RELEASE
Holiday Inn hotels and resorts across the Middle East are offering great-value breaks this summer, with the added bonus of free night stays for Visa card holders.
The extra appeal for Visa card holders is that when using their card to pay for a two-night Weekender Plus stay during this period, they will get a third night free of charge.
And the summer offer has big family appeal. Added to attractive Holiday Inn room rates, children can share their parents' room for no extra charge, and the whole family wakes up to a free breakfast each morning. Most hotels also offer free lunch and dinner for children.
The Weekender Plus and Visa card offers are available at 21 Holiday Inn hotels and resorts in the Middle East - on Egypt's Red Sea coast, in Jordan, Beirut, Tunisia, Dubai, Muscat and Salalah, Bahrain, Mukalla in Yemen, and at eight locations in Saudi Arabia.
For those taking summer breaks overseas, 270 Holiday Inn hotels in Europe and Africa are also offering the same summer packages.
With late check-out times of 4pm - subject to bookings - guests will have more time for sight-seeing, or to enjoy a range of leisure pursuits, with featured Holiday Inn hotels and resorts offering gymnasiums, swimming pools, saunas, tennis, squash, diving and snorkeling.
One of the region's most appealing summer holiday destinations is Egypt's Red Sea Riviera, where guests can now choose from the Holiday Inn Resort Sharm El Sheikh, the Holiday Inn Resort Amphoros Sharm El Sheikh, and the Holiday Inn Resort Safaga Palace.
David Atkinson, Six Continents Hotels' Area Director, Sales and Marketing, Holiday Inn, Middle East and Africa, said: "From the Mediterranean to the Red Sea, the Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Oman, we're making a wide range of holiday destinations easily affordable this summer.
"Visa card holders, and of course families, will find the Weekender Plus programme especially attractive."
