- PRESS RELEASE
The American Hospital Dubai recently joined the program of 'Emirates World Heart', a non profit organisation based in the UAE to provide free medical services to needy people throughout the Middle East.
'Emirates World Heart' was established by Dr Adel Al Shamry, Consultant Cardio Thoracic Surgeon at Sheikh Zayed Military Hospital. Mr. Michael French, CEO of the American Hospital Dubai, said: "The American Hospital Dubai is delighted to be working with Emirates World Heart, which is a very exciting initiative. As one of the prestigious partners to this valuable program, we will be able to contribute the resources and the skills of our world class Heart Center, which has an all-US physician trained team capable of undertaking high risk procedures using advanced techniques, such as beating heart bypass surgery. Through this partnership, the American Hospital Dubai will provide expert treatment to patients, who would not normally have access to this quality of care, as well as having the opportunity to contribute to the Continuing Medical Education of the health profession in the UAE."
