Ayman Abouseif appointed as Oracle's Managing Director for the Gulf States

The Middle East operations of Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) today announced the appointment of Ayman Abouseif as Managing Director for the Gulf States.
"The GCC is among the fastest-growing segments of the wider Middle East and Africa region, especially in the construction, manufacturing, government, and telecoms sectors," said Husam Dajani, Vice President of Oracle Middle East and Africa. "With his industry expertise and firsthand insight into addressing customer challenges including IT complexity and cost controls, Ayman is ideally suited to widen Oracle's market leadership position in the Gulf."
Currently one of the most recognized spokespeople in the region's technology industry, Mr Abouseif joined Oracle in 1998 and was most recently Senior Marketing Director, Oracle Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Oracle, he held a number of sales management roles for NCR in the Middle East. He has a bachelor's degree in science from Ein Shams University in Egypt as well as a master's in business administration from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
