- PRESS RELEASE
The Abu Dhabi based Al Jaber Group today announced the establishment of Trakker Middle East LLC., a new joint venture with Trakker (Pvt.) Ltd.
The three partners signed the Joint Venture Agreement in Abu Dhabi today as preparations are now getting underway to launch the new company in the UAE.
"Fleet management promises to be a thriving business in the region. This joint venture will surely add value to the growing transport business in the UAE and rest of the GCC countries and give more control to the owners in monitoring their mobile assets better," said Obaid Al Jaber.
"In today's world the requirement of pertinent information is critical not only for businesses but also individuals. Fleet management and vehicle location based services are an essential part of any business and the demand for top end products backed by service and support are increasing day by day. Even individuals can simply monitor their vehicle via the internet" he added.
Trakker Middle East LLC was set-up to meet this growing need for customer centric fleet management and vehicle location based services in the UAE and other GCC countries, as well as neighboring counties so the scope of services can cover all, instead of limited users.
The new venture will offer world renowned telematics product C-track from the global leader DigiCore of South Africa with three distinctive products designed for different requirements.
C-track Solo, the flagship product, is suitable for large fleet owners, taxi operators and specialized fleet management requirements as it easily integrates with various third party hardware and applications. C-track Assist is more suited for medium size fleets with full fleet management capability and ideal for insurance, leasing and rent-a-car fleets. Another unique feature is the C-track Secure, our family product being introduced primarily for individuals and small fleet owners who are interested in monitoring unauthorized driving, misuse, over speeding, leaving preferred areas etc. by simply using their cell phone or the internet. For Solo or Assist customers can opt for C-Track Base station or sign up to Web Track, an internet tracking facility.
All products will be backed by a 24 hour Call Centre providing on-line customer service related to location of vehicles, processing report requests, maintenance support and meeting customer specific requests regarding their fleets. Customers will be supported from offices located in Abu Dhabi and Dubai with a network of dealers across UAE offering sales, installation and maintenance services. In addition, a fleet of mobile service teams will ensure prompt service to the customers even at their own locations.
