HP's targets small businesses with new series of affordable printers boasting technological advances and greater efficiency
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, June 26 - 2005 at 09:53
- PRESS RELEASE
As part of its innovative line up of products targeted at budget-conscious small office and home office (SOHO) customers and small-medium sized businesses (SMBs), HP has unveiled three distinct categories of powerful, compact, affordable and reliable printers aimed at creating high-quality documents quickly and efficiently.
Commenting on the launch of the printers Thomas Valjak, Category manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East said: "All three products offer an irresistible combination of affordability and efficiency with impressive results. All three models produce professional-looking text and image-based documents at an affordable price. The 1022 and the 1020 appeal to small businesses and home offices because they are one of the smallest and lightest monochrome lasers available on the market today with a faster first page out from ready or sleep mode than any of its competitors.
"The HP LaserJet 9040 series printers, boasts technological advances like faster print speed, faster processor, faster first-page-out speed and additional paper-handling options that include an 8-bin mailbox and stapler as well as a stacker. These are entry-level department A3 printers especially created to meet high-volume needs of demanding workgroups. They are ideal for businesses that need simple, cost-effective, high-volume printers because of their estimated 300000 page-per-month duty cycle, input capacity of up to 3100 sheets, fast print speeds of up to 40 pages per minute and first page out in under eight seconds.
The compact design of the HP-LaserJet 1020 is suitable for a desk, shelf or other small convenient spots. With Instant turn-on technology, the printer delivers a first page out in less than 10 seconds, and the host-based print driver is designed to quickly handle print jobs using the host PC's processor, allowing for the printing of more complex jobs without using the printer's memory. The HP LaserJet 1022 offers faster print speeds, more RAM, wired and wireless networking and more input paper capacity.
