Take the fast track with British Airways

British Airways has made improvements in London Heathrow to cut journey times for Premium customers in transit.

Transferring flights at one of the world's busiest airports can be confusing. But now, thanks to a raft of improvements at Heathrow, Premium customers with British Airways who are changing flights in London can avoid queues and potential delays to travel through the airport quickly and easily.

One of the most significant changes that customers will notice are the new fast-track security channels in Terminal 1, Terminal 4 and the Flight Connections Centre. As security clearance is one of the main procedures that customers in transit have to go through, the new channels will speed up the process, bringing the service into line with that experienced by Premium customers when departing from Heathrow. Also among the raft of improvements is the installation of specially allocated and clearly signposted, transfer desks so that Premium customers with any problems - such as missed connections or non-through-checked baggage - can have queries dealt with as a matter of priority

Those eligible to use FastTrack are customers travelling in our FIRST or Club World cabins or in a premium cabin on a British Airways codeshare flight. This includes passengers travelling on Club World on flights between Amman and London; a route operated by BMED, the airline's sole longhaul independent franchise partner.

Saad Jaber, British Airways commercial manager Jordan, said: "These changes form part of a whole package that aims to ensure British Airways' Premium customers get the same high level of service on the ground as they do in the air - making every stage of their journey as comfortable and hassle free as possible."

British Airways offers daily flights between Amman Airport and London Heathrow. This convenient schedule allows passengers to make same day connections to key European and North American cities, and over 570 destinations in 136 countries with the airline's oneworld alliance partners.
