Al Arabiya and the National Commercial Bank join efforts to bring practical business programming to the Arab World
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, June 27 - 2005 at 10:00
- PRESS RELEASE
The independent Dubai-based Al Arabiya news channel is offering a 30-minute light-hearted program which introduces the average Arab citizen to the world of personal finance.
The content of the program is softened through a dynamic dialogue between the show's presenters Osman Ay Farah and Rania Abi Nader who are joined in every episode by a financial advisor.
Every episode includes interviews and a case study featuring a Saudi citizen on the topic of the episode. This is combined with a short segment featuring two young Saudi reporters - Yasemin Saeb and Fahad al Uteibi - going step by step through an experience related to the episode's topic. Finally, the program features an inspiring success story from the Arab world.
Both Al Arabiya and the National Commercial Bank joined efforts in this production in light of their deep conviction of the need for such enlightening business and finance-related programs that address the general population rather than just the articulate business elite of the Arab World.
