Sony Ericsson opens Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dubai Internet City

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB - the joint venture between Sweden's Ericsson and Sony Corporation of Japan has opened its Middle East and Africa headquarters at Dubai Internet City.

The new office will serve as the company's regional hub for the entire Middle East and Africa region, covering more than 60 countries.

"With its modern infrastructure, excellent communications and transportation links, Dubai offers the ideal location for our regional hub," explained Mats Paulson, Sony Ericsson General Manager for the Middle East and Africa. "State-of the-art infrastructure and business friendly policies make Dubai Internet City the logical choice for establishing our new office. Basing ourselves here will better enable us to reach out to our fast-growing client base in the region," he said.
