The research is based on responses from more than 62,000 US buyers of new model-year cars and trucks who were contacted after 90 days of ownership.

IQS measures 135 attributes across nine categories, including ride, handling, and braking; engine and transmission, and a broad range of quality issues reported by owners.
The 350Z scored highest in the 'premium sports car' segment, one of 18 categories covered by the survey.

A modern recreation of Nissan's legendary Z-car, the 350Z takes styling cues from the original 240Z of the 1970s and the 300ZX that was last sold in 1996.

The 350Z coupe debuted for the 2003 model year with the Roadster joining the lineup for 2004.

The two-seat coupe shares underpinnings with the Infiniti G35 and a smooth-revving 3.5-litre V6 engine coupled to a five-speed automatic gearbox with manual mode.

"The results show that Nissan is achieving its goals of quality and customer satisfaction," said Nibal Slim, marketing manager at Nissan Middle East.. "The 350Z is the standard-bearer and we are committed to matching this performance for every Nissan vehicle."
