Saudi objects to bridge

Saudi Arabia is opposing plans by Qatar and the UAE to build a bridge linking their countries, saying it would pass through Saudi territorial waters, reported Reuters quoting local media. The UAE claims sovereignty over waters adjacent to the strip of land linking it with Qatar and ceded to Saudi under a 1974 pact.
