Transguard awarded ARBIFT security contract

Transguard, the security services provider of Emirates, has been awarded a coveted security contract from the Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARBIFT).

    The Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARBIFT) awards a security contract to Transguard. Sealing the agreement at the bank's regional office in Dubai are Dr. Abdulla Al Hashimi, Senior Vice President Emirates' Group Security (right), and Mr. Ibrahim Nasser Rashid Majid Lootah, General Manager of ARBIFT.
Dr. Abdulla Al Hashimi, Senior Vice President Emirates Group Security, and Mr. Ibrahim Nasser Rashid Majid Lootah, General Manager of ARBIFT, recently signed the contract at the bank's regional office in Dubai.

Under the agreement, Transguard will provide a range of cash management services for ARBIFT including: cash collection for Central Bank and Corporate VVIP Customers, cash processing and cash management for the Bank's network of five branches and 14 sub-offices, e-Dirhims sale services in UAE, ATMs in the UAE, and cashiering.

Dr. Al Hashimi said: "Transguard is pleased to have been selected as ARBIFT's service partner. We have a strong track record in providing efficient cash processing, cash in transit and ATM services, and we look forward to supporting ARBIFT's operations with our expertise."

Mr. Lootah said: "ARBIFT is focussed on delivering exceptional service to all our customers whether in our branch, at customer service centres or at an ATM. To fulfil this aim we require our suppliers to demonstrate a capability to meet our exacting standards, all of which are fully met by Transguard."

He added: "Outsourcing our security arrangements allows us to focus on our core competencies, helps us minimise risks to personnel and assets, maximises management and staff time, and reduces overheads. We are pleased to contract Transguard as our security partners, and will work closely with them to maximise efficiency for both parties."
