Emirates signs deal with Hertz for online car hire

Emirates, the world's fastest-growing intercontinental airline, has signed a global partnership agreement with Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, to offer the best available rates when booking online.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, said: "This agreement with Hertz makes it more convenient for our online customers during this vacation season to book their flight and car at the same time, on the one website."
Bill Jones, Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Hertz also welcomed the partnership: "Hertz has a history of implementing very effective strategic partnerships. Our strengthening relationship with Emirates is good news for new and existing customers; by booking direct they can be guaranteed access to some outstanding deals and exclusive promotions."
Bookings and information can also be accessed via a specially formulated co-branded micro-site http://www.hertz.co.uk/partners/emirates or through the Emirates worldwide web sites.
