Online packages sold were up 30% against the same period last year. These positive results clearly demonstrate the strength of the British Airways brand and the British Airways Holidays product offering.

British Airways Holidays packages can be booked online on ba.com by selecting the 'hotels and car hire' icon on the website. Alternatively holiday packages can also be bought at the British Airways service centre. By booking online customers have the ability to independently manage their entire travel experience.

"The potential for online travel is enormous offering customers a seamless connection for viewing, booking and paying for holiday options via the internet. It is encouraging to see our customers in the region embracing this online travel technology," said Deborah Frampton, British Airways manager for the UAE.

British Airways Holidays recently introduced its new brochure, giving customers a choice of over 300 destinations around the world including Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The brochure features 1500 hotels in over 300 destinations across the airline's network and is continuously being expanded to offer travellers more choice than ever before.
