Gulf Air senior pilot retires

Gulf Air has announced the retirement of one its most senior pilots, Captain Bill Smith, who is leaving after clocking up over 16,000 flying hours with airline. Captain Smith joined Gulf Air in 1992 as a captain on the Boeing B737. In 1992 he became a training captain and in 1994 flew the Airbus A320, and later piloted the long-haul A340 and A330s.
