3M Gulf announced today the launch of a new CD, demonstrating 3M ScotchshieldTM ultra safety and security window films, another innovative product to help lessen the danger to humans when glass is shattered.

"Recently, the demand for our security film products and requests for information has risen significantly", said Manohar Raghavan, Sales Supervisor, 3M Consumer Safety and Light Management Department, Middle East Area, "this CD aims to help answer many of the questions we have received across the region. It spreads the message that action can indeed be taken to make the glass environment safer."

A result of advanced testing in independent laboratories, the new demonstration targets local safety and security entities, facility managers and embassies security institutions.

Professionally installed, 3M ScotchshieldTM security window films have long been used as precautions against natural disasters and crime, and are now becoming an even more significant defense technology. Practically invisible, 3M ScotchshieldTM ultra safety and security window films hold glass in place upon impact.

As a result of 3M ScotchshieldTM window films proven performance, most of the security departments have chosen 3M as an approved supplier of window film for embassy security upgrades throughout the world. 3M ScotchshieldTM security film also protects the windows at important government buildings, banks, airline offices as well as numerous airport terminals throughout the world.
