- PRESS RELEASE
SMS (short messaging service) or text messaging, a cornerstone of communication technology throughout the Middle East, is now providing a major benefit to businesses across the GCC, thanks to a new innovation from Tejari, the Middle East's online marketplace.
"Since the trial of Tejari's SMS service in mid-2004, we have sent informative and useful messages to a growing base of our customers. In Tejari's most recent customer satisfaction survey, trading partners ranked the SMS service as the most useful new Tejari service," said Abdullah Salman, marketing manager of Tejari.
As part of the MyTejari portal, Tejari's SMS facility is set to fuel further growth in the Middle East's online procurement market over the coming months, providing a real-time link between executives throughout the region, whether at work or in the office, and the electronic trading hub.
