Knowledge management & decision support systems to be discussed at event hosted by Dubai Municipality

The '3rd Conference on Documentation & Electronic Archiving' presented by Dubai Municipality will feature discussions on the theme of knowledge investment and management for decision support.
In addition, the major topics that will be discussed at the forum are Libraries & Information - Best Practices in Thesaurus Management, Documentation & Electronic Archiving, Statistics, Information & their Application in Decision Making Support and GIS Data Management & Decision Making Support for Engineering, Planning & Environmental Applications.
The event also features an exhibition where more than 100 organizations including service providers, solution providers, sellers, buyers and trade chambers from around the world will display their range of products, services and solutions for Documentation, Digital Archiving, Knowledge Management and Decision Support Systems.
Speaking about the conference, Mr. Khalid Ali Bin Zayed, Director of Municipality Centers Department, Dubai Municipality said, "The conference aims to open up new horizons for establishing mutual cooperation between participants in the fields of applying Information & Knowledge management and Decision Making Support. We seek to promote & spread Information & Knowledge Management and Decision Making Support training amongst participants."
Mr. Maher Ahmed, Conference General Coordinator, Dubai Municipality said, "The conference is an eagerly anticipated event and will feature wide participation by government, corporate and private sector knowledge management professionals from across the region ."
