"With ticket-less travel a reality many of our customers are now also using some of our other services like online check-in. In the UAE a third of our passengers are now checking in online saving themselves time and avoiding long queues," said Deborah Frampton, British Airways' Manager for the UAE.

The British Airways website is extensively used by its customers to book and manage their travel arrangements including choosing their own seat and pre-requesting their meals from the special meals available. The website has also made it easier for North Atlantic passengers to provide their Advance Passenger Information, a US and Canadian immigration requirement prior to their journey.

In June there were 190,779 page visits in the UAE alone. British Airways customers can check-in online 24 hours prior to flying thus giving customers more time and flexibility.

The ba.com website has proved extremely popular since its integrated launch last December and offers customers various other services including printing an e-ticket receipt if an e-ticket was issued, access other useful links like - view baggage information, access real time departures and arrivals information and view city guides.

Executive Club members can view their future bookings and add to their BA Miles, manage their accounts and even open household accounts for their family.

"The acceptance of foreign credit cards have significantly enhanced our award-winning website, ba.com, allowing customers to pay for bookings online using their credit card, no matter where it is issued and billed," added Frampton.
