Emirates Group Security safeguards Dubai Duty Free

Dubai Duty Free has contracted Emirates Group Security to assist in safeguarding its 24-hour outlets located within Dubai airport terminals 1 and 2.
Dr. Abdulla Al Hashimi, Senior Vice President Emirates Group Security and Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, signed the contract earlier this week.
Since 2000, Dubai Duty Free has been supplementing its existing security requirements with personnel from Emirates Group Security. The new contract signals a deepening of the partnership as both organizations will work closely in formulating and implementing measures to ensure a pleasurable shopping experience at Dubai Duty Free.
Mr. McLoughlin said: "Emirates Group Security has a proven track record and expertise in providing security services, particularly in an aviation environment. We are glad to have them on board as our partners, and we look forward to working with them in ensuring Dubai Duty Free customers and staff continue to enjoy shopping and working, in a safe and secure environment."
Dr. Al Hashimi, said: "We are glad to partner with Dubai Duty Free, and contribute to its reputation as a safe haven for world-class shopping. All our security personnel undergo stringent assessments and thorough training, before being deployed on their duties."
He added: "Our security staff are well-geared to meet the challenges associated with customer-fronting duties while maintaining high levels of vigilance, as one of the key points we stress during training is customer-orientation in both approach and appearance."
