IDEX 2007 hails its presence at the Paris Air Show 2005 a tremendous success

The General Exhibitions Corporation - Abu Dhabi (GEC-AD), recently returned from the Paris Air Show (PAS 2005), Le Bourget, Paris, France at which it promoted the 8th International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX 2007), to be held from 18-22 February 2007 at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference Centre, under the patronage of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
During PAS 2005, the IDEX team were able to confirm that the Republic of China will be exhibiting for the first time in a hall of its own, dedicated to China's defence industry, they will also be taking 100 sqm outdoor space. "We believe this is a very positive signing for Republic of China and IDEX 2007", said a spokesperson for GEC-AD.
SOFEX 2006 (the International Special Operations Forces & Law Enforcement Exhibition & Conference), to be held from 27-30 March 2006, Amman, Jordan, also received a lot of interest during PAS 2005 from the defence related industry. GEC-AD and the Jordan Armed Forces are jointly responsible for the promotion and execution of this specialised event.
"IDEX 2007's participation at the Paris Air Show 2005 was an integral part of our marketing strategy for the 2007 edition and we are very pleased with the outcome of our participation", said a spokesperson for GEC-AD.
