Using Oracle E-Business Suite family of fully integrated business solutions, E.K. Kanoo's customers will benefit from enhanced business performance in a number of areas. And will enjoy unparalleled service levels supported by Oracle Customer Relationship Management, its finance and accounting department will be able to close the ledgers earlier every month and provide extensive levels of business intelligence to its managers, the human resources team will be able to achieve operational excellence in managing the talents and the skills of the company's employees in a centralized manner, and the sales force can complete and deliver orders to customers faster than ever before. The company will also be able to better manage its crucial inventory of spare parts in order to avoid any service delays for its large customer base.

Oracle's E-Business Suite delivers the high levels of functionality required by the automotive industry and meets specific requirements demanded by E.K. Kanoo. Applications that proved critical to E.K. Kanoo's choice of Oracle's solution over that of other vendors included vehicle tracking, the cornerstone of any automotive distribution organization. With an in-built vehicle tracking function, showroom sales staff can record every single detail from procurement, shipping, stocking and costing to sales and service on a single form. This centralized view gives E.K. Kanoo a significant business advantage, through forecasting trends more accurately, providing a just-in-time delivery service to customers, and enabling its service division to locate and look over a vehicle's service history effortlessly on one document.

E.K. Kanoo will reduce its operational costs across back-office functions, including accounting and procurement as well as HR, by streamlining and automating manual tasks. Other advantages that swayed the decision in favour of Oracle were the solution's lower total cost of ownership compared to other offerings in the market.

"Bahrain's automotive sales and service industry is among the most competitive in the Middle East, with demand for punctual and consistent service on the rise, " said Husam Dajani, Vice President, Oracle Middle East and Africa. "In such a competitive market, the business benefits that Oracle E-Business Suite provides should enable E.K. Kanoo to transfer their organization to unprecedented levels of customer satisfaction."
