New and enhanced SimSim refill vouchers from Batelco

A new 'Time-Only' SimSim voucher provides a full 365-day period of use, giving customers the power to free themselves from the standard 60-day limit on vouchers.

In addition, smaller-denomination call-credit vouchers of BD3 and BD5 are now available with built-in 'time refills' of 10 and 20 days.

The one-year 'Time-Only' voucher, at BD30, is particularly useful to people who travel in and out of Bahrain frequently and therefore use the service, on and off, over a long period of time.

Explaining the benefits of the new service, a Batelco spokesman said: "This 'Time-Only' voucher means the SimSim account remains valid for 1 year and customers can now refill their accounts by purchasing any call-credit voucher in the normal way."

The new BD3 and BD5 vouchers offer both call credit and time extensions - so the BD3 voucher provides a time duration of 10 days, while the BD5 voucher allows a time duration of 20 days .

When a SimSim customer refills an account using the BD3 or BD5 voucher call credit is added to any credit already on the account. Furtheremore the system now automatically awards a 10, or 20-day time validity period to the SimSim account, depending on the voucher used - although it should be noted that the new time validity period will not be added to time already existing on the account itself.

In cases where remaining time on an account exceeds that provided by one of the new vouchers, the system will grant whichever is the longer period for the benefit of the customer.

The new vouchers are available through authorised outlets, payment by credit card in multiples of 10 through Batelco's phone-in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system - by calling 881111, and by direct debit in multiples of 10 using the National Bank of Bahrain's (NBB) IVR system by calling 214433.

The Batelco spokesman said: "Batelco's SimSim service is now more convenient than ever. The new voucher denominations offer our customers more choice, with options to extend time and credit on a SimSim account, according to individual preferences and requirements."

Demos will be carried out at a number of shopping malls to demonstrate the convenience of the service, in addition to detailed leaflets which will be available at the Batelco's Customer and Sales Service Centres.
