Participating artisans are carefully screened to ensure that only the best quality hand-made products are on display.
Rich imagination, hard work, and diligence - these are some of the ingredients needed to create beautiful middle-eastern as well Asian handicrafts and artefacts. Unknown, to many, there are a wide variety of local artisans in Dubai capable of doing just this; artists who are skilled with their hands and enterprising too.
'We are promoting this exhibition at the Holiday Centre as we strongly believe in creating awareness of the quality of local handicrafts in Dubai. This bazaar will highlight the truly international appeal that Arabian handicrafts have,' Ms. Banu Tas, Operations Manager of the Holiday Centre said
The purpose of this event is to provide the local artists of Dubai with recognition for their talents and skills, who up until now have not had a proper venue to showcase their works.
From Persian carpets to furniture and other collectible items, the crafters will be selling their wares at reasonable prices from 3pm to 9:00pm, everyday for the next two months.
Artists who are interested in participating in the Arabian Treasures Exhibition, please contact April at the Holiday Centre for further information. A minimal fee for each table will be charged and terms and conditions will apply. The deadline for bookings is July 4.
The exhibition will take place over a period of two months, beginning on the 15th of July and finishing on the 15th of August.
