The study revealed that, without a strong public relations team the governmental and private sector organizations will not be able to publicize their objectives and services to the public neither would they be able to do a great job in terms of their guests and conferences.

These are a few of the jobs that efficient public relations managers and officers do as part of their task. The study conducted on the Dubai Municipality Public Relations Department, revealed that it is necessary to strengthen the role of PR by supporting its task and make available all the sources needed for the job to be accomplished.

The public relation officers are responsible for keeping in touch with the daily press and
provide all the publications with the latest news and the profile of the municipality.

The need for a strong PR department has recently increased ,with the rapid economic development and increase of competition between businesses in the same line of industry. It is very important for the business organization be it governmental or private to check on the public poll and find out where it stands among its competitors. There is a need for a magazine specialized in Municipal affairs to be distributed to the public, said Fatima. This will help educate and raise awareness among the public.
