Second phase of Career Forum, the youth oriented summer prelude to Career Expo 2005 begins

The forum, which precedes Career Expo 2005 to be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Majeed Al Alawi, Minister of Labour, is an attempt to creatively utilize the holiday months of youth in Bahrain.

The steering committee of Career Expo 2005, decided to organize this Career Forum for secondary & higher secondary students with the aim to provide general knowledge and exposure to certain professions & their behind the scenes activity.

Following a speech by Mr. Abdul Ellah Al Qassimi, Chairman of the Career Expo Steering Committee, the boy students were taken for a trip to the House for Elderly. The second phase will end on 20th July, with visit to Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO). Each day of the forum days will comprise of various workshops on community services such as team building exercises and educational visits to leading corporate and media houses such as Akhbar Al Khaleej, BAPCO, BAS, Gulf University, banks etc.

'It is critical that youthful minds are tapped creatively and they are given relevant exposure and guidance from a very young age. This will help them make wise career choices as per their interests and talent' said Mr. Abdul Ellah Al Qassimi.
