Gulf Air takes off with OgilvyOne

OgilvyOne, the only agency in Bahrain specialising in customer relationship management, interactive and one-to-one communications, has signed an agreement to provide Gulf Air with its services.

The new agreement cements a long standing business relationship that the two companies have shared since June 2003 when OgilvyOne was chosen to assist in the re launch of what was then the "Falcon Frequent Flyer Programme."

"Over the past three years OgilvyOne has worked hand-in-hand with Gulf Air to enhance our new Frequent flyer programme," said Gulf Air Loyalty programme manager Louise Robertson. "The focus has been the development of a programme, which recognises and rewards loyal Gulf Air passengers with generous mileage, unique benefits and achievable redemption opportunities."

In 2004, OgilvyOne opened its second office in the Middle East in Bahrain to ensure Gulf Air received optimum service.

As a strategic partner, OgilvyOne has been instrumental in developing targeted, timely and continuous communication with programme members with the ultimate purpose of increasing passenger loyalty to Gulf Air and driving revenues for the airline.

These enhancements in substance and communication have been very well received and appreciated. Gulf Air's Frequent flyer programme won the award for "Best Redemption"; at the recent prestigious Freddie Awards. These awards are particularly significant because winners are determined by those who matter most - frequent flyers themselves!

"Working with Gulf Air has been a very rewarding experience for OgilvyOne," said OgilvyOne Bahrain director Nick Maynard, who describes his working relationship with Gulf Air as challenging and satisfying.

"It's not everyday that you get the opportunity to help in the rebirth of one of the leading brands in the Middle East. This new agreement is a real endorsement of the strategic and creative approach OgilvyOne has taken with the Frequent flyer programme.
