Epson launches the highest performing ultra-portable 3LCD projectors in the sub 2kg market
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, July 19 - 2005 at 11:57
- PRESS RELEASE
Epson has launched two new technologically advanced projectors that meet the diverse needs of professional presenters on the move.
The 3LCD projectors give a best-in-class level of XGA 2500 ANSI lumens which is key for mobile presenters who need to deliver high quality, bright presentations in any lighting condition. In addition these projectors feature Epson's exclusively developed E-TORL technology (Epson Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp), which gathers and projects light, thereby effectively eliminating light-leakage and minimising light diffraction. Combined with the 2500 ANSI lumens, E-TORL enables presenters to give high quality, bright presentations despite poor or low levels of environmental light that they may encounter while presenting.
The Epson EMP-760 and EMP-765 have a low noise level (35dB) and are easy to use. They come with a quick power on / instant off button function which allows users to confidently and quickly switch the projector on and off, with minimum effort. A remarkable 7 seconds is all that is needed for the projectors to be operational and there is no cool down time so the projectors can be immediately packed away for those on the go.
Powerful performance is enhanced by the EMP-760 and EMP-765 large image projection. Even in the smallest meeting room both products can project a 60" screen from only 2 meters distance, ensuring that the presenter's audience can comfortably see material being presented. And both projectors offer a long lamp life of up to 3000 hours (in eco mode), as well as an easy to use height adjustment.
The Epson EMP-765 features secure wireless LAN transmission, which is a key feature of mobile presentation products. Epson's EasyMP technology offers a range of capabilities including wireless connectivity and security functions, PC-less presentations and network control, giving professionals the flexibility of using the projector either in the office or on the move. The Epson EMP-765 supports the fastest and most secure wireless LAN transmission on the market today, (802.11g) giving connection speeds of up to 54MBps and supporting the latest WEP, WPA and LEAP security protocols. The Epson EMP-760 is designed for those who do not require wireless features.
Khalil El Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, says, "Epson's efforts to provide value-added mobile business presentation tools are reflected in these new 3LCD projectors. Business professionals on the move will particularly value the versatility and high performance of these projectors, which are designed to provide premium audio-visual support, and are low on noise and easy to carry."
