Murdoch buys into the Net

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has spent $580m acquiring an Internet website and content company in California. Despite loosing heavily on Net development in the early 2000s, Murdoch said he had made a mistake in ignoring the Internet which he saw as the global media of the future, particularly for news (see News Feature).
