- PRESS RELEASE
Building upon its efforts to lead the Middle East's imaging and printing market segments, Samsung Electronics, the global digital technology leader, today unveiled its CLP-510 printer, considered breakthrough in color laser printing technology for its superior quality and features.
Mr. Lancy Menezes, Sales and Marketing Manager, Digital Printing Division, Samsung Gulf Electronics said: "As part of our strategy to lead the color laser printer market in Middle East, Samsung is providing superior and differentiated color laser technology, equipped with special product features and service programs that truly address the needs of business users. By delivering state of art technology-driven printers, such as the CLP510, we believe, Samsung's color lasers printers will become the new technology benchmark for all business users."
The free built-in automatic duplexing enables the CLP-510 to print documents on both sides simultaneously, thus saving users a great deal of time and efforts in printing two-sided marketing materials without incurring additional costs. The CLP-510 printer's NO-NOIS™ Static Engine, which is uniquely designed by Samsung, brings noise level to less than 49 dBA - the lowest amongst its class.
Furthermore, the CLP-510 features spectacular color quality at a maximum color resolution of 1,200x 1,200 DPI (dots per inch) without sacrificing printing speed. The printer incorporates Samsung's industry leading SPGPm processor and a standard memory of 64MB (expandable to 192MB), allowing SOHO and small and medium business users to print complex multi-page documents or images at 24-page-per-minute (ppm) in black and white (B&W) and 6-ppm in color. With such competitive printing speed, superior color quality at low cost is easy to be achieved.
Equipped with a high-speed USB 2.0 interface, the CLP-510 is designed to maximize efficiency with great flexibility depending on users' needs. With the 250-sheet cassette and 100-sheet multi-purpose trays, the CLP-510 can hold up to 850 sheets at a time with an optional 500-sheet tray. Besides, the CLP-510 carries two types of toner for heavy and light users: 7,000 / 3,000 B&W and 5,000 / 2,000 color pages.
The CLP-510 comes with a built-in LCD status monitor, has an easy 3-step toner change design and is compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems. The new printer is easy to operate, fast, reliable and versatile which positions it as the perfect choice for home and SMB users.
"Colour laser printing has become an essential tool for both home and business users, providing them with transcendent print result at affordable cost -- effectively all of their daily printing needs at their fingertips," concluded Mr. Menezes. "The latest award winning CLP-510 proffers great printing capabilities and gives extraordinary low cost-per-page printing."
