Petrofac, $200m Oman deal

Privately owned UK company Petrofac has won a $200m contract to develop the Kawther gas and oil condensate field in Oman, reported Bloomberg. The aim is to produce 50,000 bpd by 2007 from the field which was discovered four years ago.
