Lamcy Plaza ushers in DSS with a dazzling mix of events and promotions

The Lamcy Plaza, one of the participating malls under the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) Strike It Rich promotion, kicked-off DSS with a mega sale with bargains and discounts ranging from 25 per cent onwards on brands at most outlets.
The mall has a string of activities running all through the DSS until September 2. This includes henna painting, caricature booth, nail bar booth, face painting and tattoo booth. Children have a splendid time with a host of characters including Space Man, Robot, Teddy Bear, Ali Baba and Parrot. Magic shows and a `Living Statue' show also keep both children and adults entertained.
Since the launch of DSS, the Lamcy Plaza has recorded an increase of over 20 per cent in footfall numbers as compared to the DSS season last year. Overall sales at all outlets have certainly increased compared to last summer, spurred by the fabulous discounts and the DSS activities. During weekends, the mall records a sharp rise in shoppers who are attracted to the entertainment and educational activities at the mall. The Arts Surprises week saw a spectacular rise in the number of visitors who were drawn by the performances by international musical troupes. The Colour Surprises week saw several participating in workshops that brought out the best of creative talent in children. The activities by DNRD and the DCCI were well managed and coordinated.
In fact, Lamcy Plaza expects sales to rise further during the DSS period. The vibrant activities at the mall combined with the mega sales and raffle draw is certain to boost sales in days to come.
