Jacky's appointed sole distributor for Bissell cleaning solutions

Bissell, the number one brand in the US, is one of the world's premier providers of cleaning products since its inception in 1876. With unique tie-ups with companies such as 3M, Bissell is able to sell cleaning products with 3M's patented Scotchgard guarantee.

The alliance with Bissell is part of a sustained drive at Jacky's to promote the use of new technology that will improve people's lives, said Ashish Panjabi, Chief Operating Officer, Jacky's Middle East LLC. 'Bissell are widely recognized as innovators in floor care, with a reputation for the high quality and performance of its products. Being market leaders in the U.S., they bring with them years of experience and innovation which we hope to promote in the Gulf region,' he said.

The Bissell range, through Jacky's, will include the company's recently launched Lift-Off®, the world's first 2 in 1, full-sized bag-less vacuum cleaner. This model, 3750, which is an upright and canister vacuum, has been introduced to suit modern homes with uneven carpet surfaces that are multi-leveled and multi-surfaced.

Moreover, Lift-Off® machines, being upright, allows one to clean uneven surfaces like staircases, curtains, sofas and cars. The detachable cylinder cleaner, which is attached to the machine, has a 30-foot power code and can be operated without switching the machine off.

Prime features included in similar Bissell models are three-stage filtration, extra wide power TrakTM cleaning path, ultra soft bumpers, motorized brush bars, blockage removal system and 'Scotchgard' protectors. Consumers with distinct preference also have a choice of the new Scooby-Doo™ and Barbie™ designs in the stick vacuum cleaners or the racecar sleek DigiPro™ in the canisters.

Some of the other products that one may find in the Bissell range are deep carpet cleaners, hard floor cleaners, steam cleaners, canister, compact and upright vacuum cleaners, among other cleaning solutions.

Bissell will be taking part in all major exhibitions in UAE and will be seen participating in The Ideal Home Exhibition at Dubai Airport Expo in December 2005. Bissell's products will be available in all Jacky's showrooms, leading retail outlets and hypermarkets across the UAE.
